Recipe for Creativity

1. We will begin by making the Hearts by taking the paper and folding it from the “short-side”, in fours (like a brochure – see example). Alternatively, fold the paper from the “long-side”, in half. Draw small tear drops on the folded part of the paper. Cut along the tear drop while paper is folded (an Adult can help you with cutting these out). One paper should allow for four small hearts, but feel free to make as many hearts as you’d like!
2. To make the cloud, fold a sheet of paper in half and draw a fluffy cloud shape on one side.
3. Then cut your cloud out, this should make two identical clouds.
4. Now, Let’s paint! Paint the hearts the colors of the rainbow or any color you wish! And decorate your Cloud any way you wish!
5. Finally take the string and make a loop at one end for easy hanging later. Take your two clouds and sandwich them together (with glue) with the string in the middle. Repeat with the hearts.
6. To take this a step further, paint different attributes you love about yourself. It could be your kindness, your smile, or your impressive ability to eat a lot of chocolate!

Receta Para la Creatividad

1. Comenzaremos haciendo los Corazones tomando el papel y doblándolo por el “lado corto”, en grupos de cuatro (como un folleto – ver ejemplo). También puedes doblar el papel por el “lado largo” por la mitad. Dibuja pequeñas gotas de lágrimas en la parte doblada del papel. Corta a lo largo de la lágrima mientras se dobla el papel (un adulto puede ayudarte a cortarlas). Un papel debe permitir cuatro corazones pequeños, ¡pero siéntete libre de hacer tantos corazones como quieras!
2. Para hacer la nube, dobla una hoja de papel por la mitad y dibuja una forma de nube esponjosa en un lado.
3. Luego corta tu nube, esto debería hacer dos nubes idénticas.
4. Ahora, ¡vamos a pintar! ¡Pinta los corazones con los colores del arco iris o cualquier color que desees! ¡Y decora tu Nube como quieras!
