Recipe for Creativity

1. Start with the feathers! You can do hand feathers or a coffee filter for feathers. If you are using your hands, trace your hand and cut out 6 handprints in any construction paper color you like. If you are using the coffee filter, flatten the filter and paint a design of your choosing. Let it dry.
2. Using a different piece of construction paper, draw and cut out the body, head and wings for your turkey.
3. Draw and cut out feet, a beak and a snood, if you want!
4. If using the hands…put down and design the hand feathers first and then glue on the body/head.
5. If using the coffee filter, glue the body and head directly to it.
6. Next, glue on the wings, feet, eyes, beak and snood.

Receta Para la Creatividad

1. ¡Empiece por las plumas! Puedes hacerlo con plumas a mano o con un filtro de café para plumas. Si estás usando tus manos, traza tu mano y recorta 6 huellas de manos en cualquier color de cartulina que desees. Si está utilizando el filtro de café, aplánelo y pinte el diseño que elija. Déjalo secar.
2. Usando otra hoja de cartulina, dibuja y recorta el cuerpo, la cabeza y las alas de tu pavo.
3. ¡Dibuja y recorta pies, un pico y una redecilla, si quieres!
4. Si usas las manos… primero coloca y diseña las plumas de las manos y luego pégalas en el cuerpo/cabeza.
5. Si usas el filtro de café, pega el cuerpo y la cabeza directamente a él.
6. Luego, pegue las alas, las patas, los ojos, el pico y la redecilla.
