Recipe for Creativity

This project has some fun folding steps!

1. Fold #1: fold the black construction paper into a triangle by bringing the top right corner down
   to meet the opposite edge
2. Cut off the excess rectangular piece of paper, leaving just the triangle.
3. Fold #2: fold the triangle again by bringing the bottom right corner up to the top left corner.
4. Fold #3: fold the triangle in half again, bringing the bottom corner up to meet the top corner.
5. Fold #4 – fold the triangle’s bottom side up to meet the opposite side.
6. Cut off the excess paper above the shortest side of the triangle.
7. Draw an arc at the top corners and cut along the arc. Draw lines to guide for cutting out
8. Cut out on the lines – be careful here not to cut all the way to the edge! I did on my first try!
9. Carefully open your paper to show your web
10. Next, rip or cut out shapes from your tissue paper
11. Glue the tissue paper onto a full sheet of paper, Glue on your spider web!

1. Doblez #1: dobla la cartulina negra en un triángulo bajando la esquina superior derecha para encontrar elborde opuesto.
2. Corta el exceso de papel rectangular, dejando solo el triángulo.
3. Doblez #2: dobla el triángulo nuevamente llevando la esquina inferior derecha hasta la esquina superiorizquierda.
4. Doblez #3: dobla el triángulo por la mitad nuevamente, elevando la esquina inferior para que seencuentre con la esquina superior.
5. Doblez #4: dobla la parte inferior del triángulo hacia arriba para encontrar el lado opuesto.
6. Corta el exceso de papel sobre el lado más corto del triángulo.
7. Dibuja un arco en las esquinas superiores y corta a lo largo del arco. Dibuja líneas que sirvan de guía pararecortar.
8. Recorte por las líneas: ¡tenga cuidado de no cortar hasta el borde! ¡Lo hice en mi primer intento!
9. Abre con cuidado tu periódico para mostrar tu web.
10. Luego, rasgue o corte formas del papel de seda.
11. Pega el papel de seda en una hoja de papel completa. ¡Pega tu telaraña!
