Paper Plate Butterfly
Supplies
- Paper plate
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons/ Paint/Markers
- 2 goggly eyes
- 4-6 medium pom-poms (any color)
- 1 piper cleaner (any color)
- Construction paper (optional)
Recipe for Creativity
- Fold paper plate in half and cut out a small circle from the middle.
- Cut the paper plate in half to create the butterfly wings.
- Be creative and color or paint to design the butterfly wings.
- If you painted the wings, wait for the paint to dry and then glue the pom poms in a line to create the butterfly body.
- Glue to eyes to the head of the butterfly body.
- Cut the pipe cleaner in half and curl the tops to create the butterfly’s antenna.
- Glue the piper cleaners to the head of the butterfly.
Final step: Sign or autograph your masterpiece!

- Plato de papel
- Tijeras
- Pegamento
- Crayones/Pintura/Marcadores
- 2 ojos saltones
- 4-6 pompones medianos (de cualquier color)
- 1 limpiapipas (cualquier color)
- Papel de construcción (opcional)
Receta Para la Creatividad
- Dobla el plato de papel por la mitad y corta un pequeño círculo en el medio.
- Corta el plato de papel por la mitad para crear las alas de mariposa.
- Sea creativo y coloree o pinte para diseñar las alas de mariposa.
- Si pintaste las alas, espera a que se seque la pintura y luego pega los pompones en una línea para crear el cuerpo de la mariposa.
- Pegue los ojos a la cabeza del cuerpo de la mariposa.
- Corta el limpiapipas por la mitad y riza la parte superior para crear la antena de la mariposa.
- Pega los limpiapipas a la cabeza de la mariposa.
