Recipe for Creativity

1. Place your hand flat on one of the sheets of construction paper and trace around the outline of your hand (The more spread out your fingers are the better).
2. Decorate the inside of your hand outline.
3. Cut out the hand print and decorate the other side as well. This will be our flower then taking the other sheet of paper roll one corner in a tight roll on a diagonal and continue rolling until you get to the middle of the paper.
4. Place glue on the unrolled half of the paper then continue rolling until you are left with a long paper stem.
5. Now its time to put it all together! Take the hand print you decorated and curl the bottom (or the palm) around the stem gluing it in place.
6. Then to really make it look like a flower curl the cut-out (the was your fingers) away from the center of the flower!

Receta Para la Creatividad

1. Coloque su mano plana sobre una de las hojas de papel de construcción y trace el contorno de su mano (cuanto más separados estén sus dedos, mejor).
2. Decora el interior del contorno de tu mano.
3. Recorta la huella de la mano y decora el otro lado también. Esta será nuestra flor, luego, tomando la otra hoja de papel, enrolle una esquina en un rollo apretado en diagonal y continúe enrollando hasta llegar a la mitad del papel.
4. Coloque pegamento en la mitad desenrollada del papel y luego continúe enrollando hasta que quede un tallo de papel largo.
5. ¡Ahora es el momento de ponerlo todo junto! Tome la huella de la mano que decoró y enrolle la parte inferior (o la palma) alrededor del tallo y péguela en su lugar.
6. Luego, para que realmente se vea como una flor, enrolle el recorte (fueron sus dedos) lejos del centro de la flor.
