Recipe for Creativity

1. Paint the back ground of your cardstock using any colors of your choice. Here we used a dark blue!
2. Time to make the evergreen trees! Take a sheet of any color construction paper and fold both sides in to meet in the middle.
3. Use a pencil or white crayon, draw half of a triangle (or half of a tree) on each folded side of your paper. You want a variety of sizes for your trees so make some taller ones and smaller ones.
4. Cut out the trees and unfold them. Fold the paper again and draw a smaller tree. Continue folding, drawing and cutting out trees.
5. Before gluing down your trees, arrange them onto your winter sky painting. Try overlapping them a bit to create some depth.
6. Glue your trees down to your painting. Keep the glue in the center of your trees so that the edges of the trees pop out a bit from your painting giving it a cool 3D look!
7. Tear your cotton balls to look like snow and apply them at the bottom of your painting.

Receta Para la Creatividad

1. Pinta el fondo de tu cartulina con los colores que elijas. ¡Aquí usamos un azul oscuro!
2. ¡Es hora de hacer árboles de hoja perenne! Tome una hoja de cartulina de cualquier color y doble
   ambos lados para que se junten en el medio.
3. Usa un lápiz o crayón blanco y dibuja la mitad de un triángulo (o la mitad de un árbol) en cada lado
   doblado de tu papel. Quieres una variedad de tamaños para tus árboles, así que haz algunos más
   altos y más pequeños.
4. Recorta los árboles y despliégalos. Dobla el papel nuevamente y dibuja un árbol más pequeño.
   Continúe doblando, dibujando y recortando árboles.
5. Antes de pegar los árboles, colóquelos sobre el cuadro del cielo invernal. Intente superponerlos un
   poco para crear algo de profundidad.
6. Pega tus árboles a tu pintura. ¡Mantén el pegamento en el centro de tus árboles para que los bordes
   de los árboles sobresalgan un poco de tu pintura, dándole una apariencia 3D genial!
7. Rasga tus bolas de algodón para que parezcan nieve y aplícalas en la parte inferior de tu pintura.

Último paso: ¡Firma o autografia tu obra maestra!
